We have undertaken numerous trouble shooting exercises for a variety of contractors and end users for many different reasons.
Often a second pair of eyes makes all the difference, or you might require an independent evaluation or simply not have the resource to cover all of your outstanding site issues.
Both directors of Cool Concerns are practical engineers with substantial site experience. Stephen Benton holds a current Engineering Services Skill Card and is up to date with site H&S requirements and regularly works on sites under construction.

Examples of troubleshooting work:
On site investigations for a service and maintenance contractor to verify the status of over 60 condemned refrigeration compressors. Following our site visits we found only 3 compressors required replacing. This was due to incorrect diagnosis by the previous incumbent contractor and saved many thousands of pounds for both the contractor and end user in terms of compressors and associated labour to fit them.
We attended another retail site for a client who was experiencing problems with the control of a scroll pack. The correction work was completed on the first visit with the client. It involved recommissioning the electronic controls and associated transducers. The solution to the problem was very simple but the problem is not uncommon where engineers are inexperienced or do not have the time to complete commissioning thoroughly. We actively pass our experience onto contractors so as to avoid costly mistakes being repeated. |
